Lake Louise Ski Resort is approximately 185km west of Calgary in Banff National Park and has 4,200 skiable acres of terrain. My first time snowboarding at Lake Louise was over Christmas in 2007 with Christine's family. Christmas ski trips have almost become a tradition every second year for us. It's a really nice way to spend the holidays! Party due to those trips, Lake Louise has become my favorite resort close to Calgary and I have spent numerous days exploring the mountain with good friends. I prefer this resort to Sunshine because the runs are longer and the terrain isn't as flat. As a snowboarder this means a lot less walking and a lot more riding! Below you will find a collection of pictures from my time spent there.
