I've done Ribbon Creek Trail on two different occasions now. The first time we hiked/biked the entire trail to the falls. The second time was just after buying Christine's bike so we just did the biking section. That's the beauty of this trail, you can ride your bike along the first 4km and then hike the remaining 5km to Ribbon Falls. The trail is 18km round-trip with about 325m of elevation gain. The trailhead is located approximately 100km west of Calgary along Highway 40 in Evan-Thomas Provincial Recreation Area, near Kananaskis Village.
